chrisbonnie Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 its my fathers birthday in 4 weeks, and id like to buy him a few ybs, he`s in the process of building a bigger loft than his 6x4, so he only has 10 birds at the minute, so with his loft upscaling he`s gonna need a few more feathered friends is Louella about the easiest place to get birds quickly, because they do deliver to Ireland, or is there somewhere else? oh, and he likes the colours of the Busschaerts, it`ll add some variety i would imagine cheers in advance lads
pjc Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 i wouldn't go to louella, but there are others that bring birds over to Ireland
Novice Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 There are at least 3 good studs in Ireland that I know of and numerous class fanciers. I would only consider buying Irish Pigeons to fly into Ireland. Horses for courses.
VAGIN Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 Stick to the home grown ones, there are some classy fanciers in Ireland

Guest mick bowler Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 Hi Chris, in Dublin you have some of the finest fanciers in the country, especially within the ISRF. I'm sure there are a few there that would breed you a few YBs.
chrisbonnie Posted June 21, 2009 Author Report Posted June 21, 2009 oh yes there is plenty about as far as taiwan mate are these birds for racing mate or pets. racing my dad has only gotten back into pigeons after 30 years, so this will actually be his first time racing them, its just, he`s not affiliated to a club just yet(he has enquired), so with his bigger loft in the process of being built, id like to get him a few more pigeons for it
edwards Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 k mate well the best advice id give you is find out if his gonna be flying southroad fed or eastcoast fed check race results on the fed his going to be flying in and what member is doing the best and try contact him it may sound like a bit of work but its not really colours mean nothing in pigeons mate not a thing so going for pigeons that look nice is a no no you might get someone to breed some for nothing but try your best bud to get sound tested birds that will help your da stay in them and not get out after a year .
