Jacobasmith Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 hi, I have a couple of questions to ask. my local food supplier has different pigeon feeds, they have "pigeon corn economix" and "pigeon no bean mix" are these suitable for racing pigeons and if so, which one should i use for young birds? also is there a certain brand/type of grit people say is best? thankyou
Guest stb Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 ye both would prob be all right economix usually has a lot more wheat in it people all feed there ybs different things so no right and wrong most grits are ok nowadays. ps dont try and race them on a depurative alone

rasbull Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 is the supplier able to order in mixes for you? A young bird mix would be fine, you can get with maize or without. I prefer to have maize in mine.
