You can use Microsoft Paint to resize them even.

 

Go Start Menu

 

All Programs............Accessories..............Paint

 

Open you pictures in Paint.

 

Then Images..................Stretch/Skew

 

Reduce the 100 for both the Horizontal and Vertical vales until you get your pictures down to a reasonable size.

 

The resave them. (If you want to keep the larger version of the image als use a different name when saving)

 

When saving for the web it might be best to save as a .jpg format.
