Guest uphallhen Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 More importantly were is the link or source to who sells them for £1.50 as you quoted in your previous post, Gareth how much do you think it will be for a ring and don't say £100 a ring as before.
frank-123 Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 not only would you need a ring but power to send the signal back to the receiver
Guest uphallhen Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 not only would you need a ring but power to send the signal back to the receiver frank 123 i seen this system ets gps rings in the B.H,W afew month's ago, but can't remember the name of the system.
Guest Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 More importantly were is the link or source to who sells them for £1.50 as you quoted in your previous post, i dont think there is such a thing as gps /ets ring i looked into gps the cheapest i could find was £ 160 for the kit but the gps bit gets attached to the leg and the bird needs to home and then you plug it into your comp. and it dowloads goggle earth and shows you which way it came just as the link that was put on last night done but a replacement gps for it is £99 so gareths estimate was nearly bang on but why would yous need 300?
Guest Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 not only would you need a ring but power to send the signal back to the receiver the gps has a battery life of 3/4hrs so no good for long distance but i think they will get better and 1 day we might even be able to sit and watch the birds comming up the country on your comp. but not for a few years yet
