bird returned no ring

went to dads this afternoon, and he showed me a hen he had come back today from the messac race in late june,

this hen has been a scorer this year, as the messac turned out to be a bit of a funny race it was just presumed she was lost or whatever happens to them when they dont return.

she went straight to her old box and her old cock was in there and fonded to her like she had never been missing,

the hen looked a picture she must of been in someones loft but the only thing was they had cut her ring off and put a plastic split ring on her,

all i say is why cut the ring off?

happened to me last season with a gabby hen she was my first bird back

from the first NFC  race fourgres then sent her training a few weeks later

she come back six weeks later no ring on , i know how you feel mate .
