Guest bakes Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 hi this morning i have learnt alot been up helping one of my mates that flys for the same fed im joining up with the old boy popped down mine this morning see how my youngbirds are and he said let them out so i did let them out bloody brillent they stopped in my garden they flew onto my loft roof and had them out for an hour ive made my self a trap and fitted it to my loft then the old boy said open the landing bar open the landing bar he said go into the loft and shake your tin with a few peas in done it and 6 out of 6 threw the trap im over the moon. a pic of my trap and one of the 10 v shape perch's i made from old bits of wood nocking about all the best bakes.
Jacobasmith Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 that looks amazing. how wide are the entrances in the trap and how many bob wires per entrance. to let the birds out do you lift up the wires or is there a seperate entrace.
Guest bakes Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 its 3ft high by 3ft wide by 3ft long 5 entraces 2 bob holes to each entrace hole ive had the youngbirds going out threw the trap by lifting the bob wires up and had them coming out of the front door of the loft left the door open everybird is going threw the trap sitting on the perch's then they fly back out of the door and sit on the loft roof for a bit then go back in threw the trap
