We have got the same about here Paul. They must have more money than sense. Why can't they be sensible like us and spend their money on pigeons?

My kids have left home and have kids of their own. All three live a long way away. The Son is in California.

So I am enjoying the luxury of being a grumpy old sod. It's great, being able to grumble about kids in masks, kids with fireworks and later on kids banging the door to sing two lines of a carol.

My wife is enjoying the chance to nag me for being an old misery. Especially as I don't answer back like I used to do. Then off she goes, banging the door on the way out as she goes to the Bingo. Peace at last. It was worth it. Just about.

I dont see the point in paying for them as can just watch the neighbours out the window for free and save the money for more things to wind them up with.
