a very worthy cause

just read this and i felt very sorry that this country with all its charities for crafts and arts and money from the lottery going towards places like the millenium dome(what a waste) and childrens wards and hospitals are left to rely on charities from the public raising funds.

just like our very own gail j is/has done for velindre hospital.

if it wasnt for people like gail raising funds what state would the hospitals be in?.

i just feel that the real issues of this country are often ignored to suit the toffs and gentry (mps)

and such ,while a real cause goes hand in hand begging for funds.

i still cannot understand how a supposedly civilised country as ours, gives out funds to accomodate immigrants who arrive here daily....but cannot make sure our hospitals and worthy causes are properly funded.

i would rather see a extra bed costing £1000 each then see a picture hanging for just £100 in an art gallery that will only be viewd by someone who is into art.

this country needs to get real!

with all this recent business about claiming this and that by mps and they are the ones that vote on wether these charities are worthy of funding....disgraceful,dispicable and downright disgusting.

they are put in thier positions to help the public not be a modern day highwayman.

i whole heartedley agree,, i am sick of worthy causes hospitals etc not having enough money to treat people.. i know from personal experience..  they will tell you its not that simple! but it is!... next time an election comes i would like to see a box that says none of the above.. ive had enough of mps there all in it for them selves, snouts in the trough.. they need to live in the real world.. > > > >
