FoxesFan4Ever Posted July 19, 2009 Report Posted July 19, 2009 Hi all, I am sure I have seen a thread on this subject but I can't find it now so apologies for rehashing an old story. Basically, with the weather we have had the last few days I am wondering where to draw the line re taking birds for training flights. Took them the other day (30 miles) when it was overcast with very light drizzle, first time they have been that far and most of them beat me home so happy about that. However, although I wouldn't be happy throwing them up in heavy rain there is no doubt that at some point they will encounter bad weather on the way home. So what do you guys do?? Thanks for looking and any replies!
jimmy white Posted July 19, 2009 Report Posted July 19, 2009 i think you need to be very carefull with yb,s,, building their confidence up seems to be the main thing,, but , if yb,s are released in sunshine , they will soon go through any light rain showers, if well trained previously
