Guest Posted July 26, 2009 Report Posted July 26, 2009 We never give up hope. We had a young bird last year that came home six weeks later. It had either been hawked or wired as it had had a nasty gash that had healed leaving a clump of skin dangling down it's front. It flew out this year but didn't return from a training toss two weeks ago, but i'm living in hope he will return again .
