Guest strapper Posted November 18, 2009 Report Posted November 18, 2009 i find this really great to see people making sure that soldiers who die are never forgotten, this is the brave lad richard who came from my town who was the 200th soldier to lose his life. A FOUNDATION set up in memory of the Abergavenny soldier who died in Afghanistan is looking for volunteers to help in a music and family fun day next year. The Richard Hunt Foundation was set up in memory of Private Richard Hunt who died on August 13 after being wounded in an explosion while on patrol near Musa Qala in Helmand Province. The Foundation, made up of many of the soldier’s family and friends, gained permission from Monmouthshire council to hold a charity day at Bailey Park in Abergavenny on May 15. The Foundation is looking for event marshals who must be over 18 years-old and physically fit to take part in the day. They also need local bands, acts and displays to take part as well as vendors of trade stands and food pitches. Anyone who can help should email info@welshwarrior.co.uk
