Hi all,

Ok so I guess I screwed up somewhere but I split my birds up into cocks and hens as advised. Failed miserably with sexing and photos are the result. Nests  not noticed as I put boards up as suggested to catch the feathers and 1 nest is in cock section and 1 is in hens. Oh well, what is done is done. :)I will not be killing  any of the survivors so preferably need to ring them so they can eventually be raced if they prove themselves. I have 1 ring left from this year and I need 3 or maybe more in next 5-10 days please. If any1 can help please post on here or pm me.

On the plus side..they look like meeeeee !!!!!!   :D

Thanks for looking.

For your late youngsters already in the nest, remember you can use any ring for them, not just 09.

As to eggs, easier [more ethical] to dispose of them, simply take them away and let them chill. Basically wrong time of year to let them hatch out anyway. Plenty scope for that in proper breeding season from around February 2010.

Other thing is a nest on the floor is at risk from interference by other birds. Fighting, jealousy, cocks trying to tread sitting hen.
