***  BLANTYRE HOMING SOCIETY 2010 YOUNG BIRD GOLD RING RACE ***

open to members flying in the west section of the lanarkshire federation,

to be flown same day as lanarkshire federation young bird open race.

rings are £10 and can be purchased from-ACCIE, tel ( 07977120016) or tommy,tel (0752273103) or at club premmises on sunday evenings from 7pm to 8pm.

prizes are as follows;

                            1st prize £500 +trophy,presented at clubs presentation dance

                                                           (trophy to be held for year)        

                            2nd prize £250

                            3rd prize £100

                            4th prize £50      

                            5th prize £50  

                            6th prize £50

  

if you are outwith the west section or in another federation you can purchase a ring and get someone in the west section to race it for you.

the gold ring has it  to be  named early,  or is it drawn on the week of the race what i mean is  if its early with all the training  prior to that race  they   could be lost,   before the race starts,  it could end up only 20 birds competing ,  or is it  the last bird standing rule , only asking

danny you buy the  ring  put it on the y/bird if it is lost before the race your out its the chance you take there was plenty of them at the race last year some still had the ten they had bought

  just a thought as all the money would be in and more, and  they  are  all there on the day with a chance,  yes you can pick yer fancy,  but so can  all the rest,  and no one is left out,   at the same time they could have it at the  first race  ;D ;D  less birds lost  just asking  lol
