catchthepigeon Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 how much did that wee loft cost you

Action Posted December 24, 2009 Author Report Posted December 24, 2009 The little loft-I built it from scraps I had and maybe $30 in store bought parts. Yes, The roof is an old glass sliding door I had. The 6 birds were unexpected so had to put something together fast. Still a work in progress. Jack
Guest frank dooman Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 the only thing i can see thats wrong in my mind is with a glass top in your heat you might cook the birds put a piece of wood over it they need some where to get out the sun

Action Posted December 24, 2009 Author Report Posted December 24, 2009 Right now the sun is low in the sky and hi temps are still pretty cold. But yes when it warms up the glass is a concern. For now it seems to be OK. I was also a little concerned about hawks seeing them but so far so good. I am all ears if you see a mistake. Thanks Jack Merry Christmas
