Ulsterman Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 hi,could anyone tell me when floating eggs do you keep them in the fridge or out of fridge at room tempature,? thanks.
HHHH Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 I keep mine in the loft turn them twice a day
Guest ROCKYandRAMBO Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 i normally float mine straight under the feeder waiting whicg laid at the same time ? if you are going to keep them out and turn them remember as every day passes the likely hood of hatching decreases
Guest strapper Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 hi,could anyone tell me when floating eggs do you keep them in the fridge or out of fridge at room tempature,? thanks. best to keep them in a cool place (not in a fridge)they will stay fertile upto 4-5 days ..but only if the eggs were removed same morning they laid them...if they have sat a day or two forget it as the embryo would have started to grow...germinate if you like!

Guest stb- Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 just remove them and sit them in a spare box in a nest bowl with some shavings in and turn them 2 times a day.
