Clear loft roof ?

if the black tar sheets have the same profile u can miss out some on the front and put the clear plastic ones in

This is what i have done with mine.I have a plywood roof underneath where the clear panels are i have cut out a 1 foot square to allow light in.Too much heat/light getting in will put the birds in to a moult

marks loft is perfect as u get plenty of sun and warmth in the loft for condition and form no cat will get on it as its to steep they would slide off at any try but as u can see theres plenty of ventalation going in so theres no problam with heat and warmth (warmth and heat controlled proply is a must for me )

Yep that is the way to do it, they even make polycarbonate inserts to fit on pantiled roofs to lety light in to the loft. I wouldn't go for a clear roof all pver as it would get too hot in the summer. Re scaring birds, pigeons get used to things very quickly mine don't even flich when I am using a nail gun and my mate has a cat that sleeps in his loft and the birds walk over the top of it :-/

one trouble with clear sheets is condinsation in winter loft will get damp and that can cause all sorts of problems as you know this i learnt the hard way and i wouldnt wish that on anyone all the best with your loft
