just catching up with my 2010 homing worlds and reading the report on william sheldons 800 milers january 22nd issue page34-35 (100 YEARS AGO)some great pictures of fantastic racers particulary the two dark chequers which imo would be winning in todays national flying club races,great fancier great doos, 800miles no problem. :) :) :) :) :) :)

agree with everything said did you notice the velocities would certainly be competitive today

 

yes did notice,think it shows us that given the chance pigeons have always been able to fly from extreme distances. :) :) :) :)
