Guest Owen Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 Are you sure that you have a cock and hen? This behaviour is usually by a pair of Lesbian hens.

Guest IB Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 I've had birds that don't do a strict 'day' and 'night' shift. Seen yearling cocks that don't spell their hens till the afternoon, the hen doesn't come back till late evening; cocks that spell their hens first light, or late at night, hen comes back in an hour or so ..
