As documented before on a previous thread, i had a nightmare. 12 pair down within 5 days, and all hell let loose, loosing all but 5 young birds. However the route of the problem was confinement to boxes, which i,ve now done away with. I now have 4 nests on yb, and 6 nests on eggs. So fingers crossed i,m back on course. Lessons learnt hear for me, for sure. good luck with your own season  ;)

I set out to breed my usual 25 youngsters. I normally breed more than I want and select from there, cutting them down to the 25. This year I have found myself with a lot more than I need even after I have weeded the crop.
