Just wandering if I buy a pair of birds now if I will be able to take a round from them for races this yr?

 

yes mate for the later races they will be ok

you will see that may young birds look better

as the weather is better and they have the warnth

I put youngbirds over on the 1st of june when i moved one year and they raced the full y/bird program to 250mls

You will be fine mate - I still have  2 pairs of stock i havent paired yet (infact there isnt a loft up for them yet!) and there young will be in at the 2nd race and if last years young are any indication on late birds they will do the programme.

I weaned 2 end of June that were raced end August.

get a pencel-paper-calander----bird should be 4 months old before first race.

 

Where does it say a bird has to be 4 months?

 

Had 6 youngsters from Louella last year on 14th June.

First 3 weeks in August. 4 of the 6 flew 55 miles, 107 miles, 163 miles

 

way under 4 months even after the third race.
