Why I have started feeding in the trap.

I have had my birds for two weeks now and by no means would I say I was any sort of expert but I have started to feed in the trap (the trap in large, nearly 4ft long and I only have 6 YB's) and here are the following reasons, 1, I can easily hand feed and I am not towering over the birds. 2, I want the birds to relate the trap with food. 3, Any dropped food is easy to sweep up at the end of the day helping to prevent rodents. 4, I can place the food hopper in there so the birds can easily see food is available. 5, When the birds outside see that some are in the trap feeding it seems to encourage them in too.

These are some of the benefits to trap feeding I find. I bet there are loads of reasons why I am wrong tho !!

lets have em  ;)

feeding in the trap when you have only a few birds is ok but if had more then the birds in the trap may hinder other birds from trapping , feeding a few small seeds in trap ok as will help them to trap but if put a small pot of white dari in every time you trap they come in much quicker then just move pot from trap to floor :) then they'll enter and go for the pot and not hinder any other bird coming in
