Guest Gareth Rankin Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 Have had a look at this website and have been very impressed how well organised it is from the condition of the pigeons to the info they supply including video footage, i will be sending to this one loft race this year as it is at a time of year when it would help pass the winter months, also looking at the terraine in the footage you would think the race was in Scotland.

WulDon Posted January 30, 2010 Author Report Posted January 30, 2010 Have had a look at this website and have been very impressed how well organised it is from the condition of the pigeons to the info they supply including video footage, i will be sending to this one loft race this year as it is at a time of year when it would help pass the winter months, also looking at the terraine in the footage you would think the race was in Scotland. this is the first international one loft race i've entered Gareth, and i am 100% plus delighted the way the organisers have put this together, constant updates via email, letter, txt and as you say the video footage is great, not to mention the profile on each fancier and there birds. when your first pigeon arrives from a race you recieve at txt telling you what pigeon it is, position and time... will def be sending again this year, hopefully my thread will encourage other scottish flyers to participate and we can go as a team for 2011!

WulDon Posted February 4, 2010 Author Report Posted February 4, 2010 first off-shore training race took place today from 81km, lib @8.30am race turned out another success, winner in at 9.32... my three entrants 9.35.15/9.35.31/9.36.05. positions 530th, 591st, 671st glad they are all there quite sharp again, still 33 birds adrift this evening and pigeons still being clocked late this afternoon... good to get the first race like this out the way being off shore!

WUL.D Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 1218 pigeons sent today to the 106km off shore training race. looks like they have had a bit of a rumble with 1082 pigeons home right up till 5.48pm this evening. lucky enough my three timed at 9.54.36... 10.30.48... 11.02.43, positions 74th, 551st, 871st what a pigeon that won today by the German fanciers Team Blankenaufulland & Sohn, there pigeon BOMBOM timed to win today at 9.53.50, this now being its THIRD WIN! well done....
