Guest IB Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 Seems to have been a First World War Measure, superceded in 1920.
Guest IB Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 Seems current protection for racing pigeon against this kind of thing is in Animal Welfare Act 2006. Racing pigeon being a domesticated animal is a 'protected animal' and against the law for anyone to cause it suffering. http://www.opsi.gov.uk/acts/acts2006/ukpga_20060045_en_1#pb1-l1g1
