harky Posted March 28, 2010 Author Report Posted March 28, 2010 where are you thinking of having the sale and need to move quick ON HERE HOPEFULLY IF VALLANCE GIVES THE GO AHEAD AS ITS FOR MEMBERS FROM THIS SITE WITHIN THE LANARKSHIRE FED
Guest bigda Posted March 28, 2010 Report Posted March 28, 2010 you could have all member, well enough of them from here to match the lanarkshire birds get 200 lanarkshire guys at £10 per entry then get 200 sponcers £10 = £4,000 pay out £500 for 8 winners £250 for the owner trainer £250 for the sponcers 25/1 yer money the sponcers would have there names put in a hat and drawn out against the lanarkshire birds no limit in as many you want to sponcer hope thats as clear as mud the race will be a open race and the birds would be named and rings numbers would show up on the open result failling that velocitys would come into it, should the race close but not enough named birds in the open then club results would come in to force

Guest bigda Posted March 28, 2010 Report Posted March 28, 2010 Bigda I think there should allways be a winner and they should get more out the race than the others so I would just like to see the winner get more than the othere birds and sow on not all getting the same jmo yes rab that could be arranged could be flying for even more if its well suported but at £500 + a yearly trophy to the winner think giving ever entrant a 25/1 there money the cost is 2 gallon of petrol or 40 fags the bird does not need to be name 2 wek before the race that way most entrants will be there on the day the raffle can be drawn a lot earlier as the numbers are in and all the moneys are in the luck of the draw as like any raffle as open races go there are good flyers but there named birds might not be the one on the day or to far down the list
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted March 28, 2010 Report Posted March 28, 2010 All for it Harky, A great pity that Lanarkshire Fed do not have a young bird sale, even more so when other feds are bringing their young bird sales within Lanarkshire boundaries.
