you realy need to leave 1 of them on the nest un less you dont need them to hatch but remember if you lose 1 you lose the eggs

Well they won't like it, but sometimes you don't have a choice. Watch out though, if you put them straight from the nest bowl into the basket they will make one mess of it. Try to get them to take a dump before basketing them.  ;)

ive done it in past no problems when training hens gives them more of motivation to get back faster ive got all my natural cocks im sending this saturady to bath on eggs with the pair and they will peck my hands to bits if i go anywere near there box or eggs or there hen done this for more motivation  and my hens will be sent on eggs or chipping eggs but got to say if i sent the hens the cocks was on eggs same as cocks hens was sitting
