hi  ive been hit again today by the sparrowhawk and am now really losing heart, when i do open my loft up to let my birds out only about a third of them leave the loft and when they do some of them have their heads cocked looking up into the sky :(  with the others staying put inside and not wanting to venture outside  i had a fancier collect one of his birds from me today that came in as a stray  he had released his birds on a training toss near gatwick airport but before they could get their bearings a s/hawk went right into the middle of them scattering them in all directions >:(  then while visiting a friend earlier i heard a commotion at the back of the flats he lives in with all the wild birds making a racket, when i went outside i found a s/hawk on top of a blackbird or starling which it flew off with when i tried to get near to it >:(  it really is now getting beyond a joke and the things are everywhere   i really cant see how we are gonna turn things around now and am feeling really pxssed off at the moment  sorry to put you all on a downer but if things stay as they are we aint gonna be able to excercise our birds let alone train/race them  to top it all my mate jumped to the s/hawks defence explaining that it probably hadnt eaten for days and was probably starving otherwise it wouldnt be attacking birds as they all normally live together   rant over  comments welcome   kev
