johnboy33 Posted April 9, 2010 Report Posted April 9, 2010 Just like to ask the forum about the time we start racing young birds when a lot of fanciers breed early ie; Dec/Jan yet we dont start racing YBs until approx middle July whereas in Belgium/Holland they breed early yet start racing YBs last weekend in May!!! Is it not possible to do that here and do you think the early YBs should be raced then? Im probably missing the point as i dont breed early, just thought id ask though, good luck to all for the season
Guest youngboy Posted April 9, 2010 Report Posted April 9, 2010 this will be interesting this year was earliest i bred i out together on 1st feb so i will see how it goes last season there were together early/mid march and still had them ready but was in a catch up mode.
kirky Posted April 9, 2010 Report Posted April 9, 2010 young birds bred early could race in may, but the problem in england we are too far down the line distance wise to start them off.
