so your saying that a pere comes in everyday and trys to take your birds? wouldnt it have wipped them out within a few months? how many birds have you got?

what if you bred some slow flyers or some rollers maybe to go with the racers? wouldnt they attrack the pere isntead of your best racers?

asking serouse questions here les, and please keep your hair on mate i aint tryin to start anything even though i really dont agree with what your doing.

no m8 it is what we feel will happen every time they are let out or trained ,and yes where i live it is infested with every hawk possible ,i have cleared  most but yes they do get replaced but not for long ,u see i have a very good method ,[and it is legal ]no one agrees with every thing in life [i dont agree with paying TAX ]so i try not to ,but like i said its not like it used to be ,you cant relax  when the birds are out  so the fun is taken away ,all because of a stupid law that should be changed [after all what kills the BOP ]nothing except man to keep it in check .

sorry mate im showing my ignorance here not being a racer, but could they be put in another smaller loft so not aloud to mix or breed with the good birds?

thats what i was trying to asertain, how common was it, because i did ask but only a handfull of ppl actually comented taht they had birds tacken.

i see it if pigeon men are tacking bird out the wild it just seems such a waste for ppl like me who would rather see them be put to a btter us then left dead in areas that have high populations.

all that is acheving is to supply food so they breed more young ,come on its bad now ,how many usless [for that is what they are ]hawks do we need to keep killing song birds ,the fecking things dont look prity and cant fecking sing a dam note ,they are just killing macheans ,nothing more nothing less .

So bottom line then what can be done to stop these wild peregrines from attacking race birds?

I'll give u my thoughts for wot they are worth, nothing can be done.

It will always be a on going problem....

Can talk about it for ever and a day from what i read upon the forum its been a ongoing problem for some time but now seems worse than ever, looks as if no one could nip it in the bud in the earlier days so doubt if can stop it now...

Presume the fancier can only take measures to protect is prized possessions whilst sitting in the garden with them  awaiting a strike, not much anyone can do once birds are airborne or coming back from race......

the hawks are just lucky that most pigeon folk cant be botherd to get of their *expletive removed* and do some thing ,because there is a method that realy sorts them out any where ever  they are .
