north wales novice- Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 have had my 12 widow cocks out for a bath , seemed to enjoy it laying in the sun drying ,me sitting on the step watching. heard a rush of wings and a swoop ,allthe garden birds heading into trees and bushes (sparrowhawk) landed on neighbours fence , my birds woosh up and away 1 on loft ,1 on house 10 of them chasing it away . they back and in 10 mins later all ok . andy.

Guest youngboy Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 yes this hawk ting gettin out of hand!! i seen my first sparrow of the year the other day brought birdies off for a nice high fly wasn huntin just kept flyin with them slowly went away doh!! and im planning on startin training litle after st.patricks day because our first rasce is 23rd of april!
shotgun tim Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 had mine out today within 5 mins big hen perigrine chasing them they went onto the roof i couldnt get them in 20 mins later a sparrow hawk came through my garden this is just the begining as well :(
