Mealy Cock Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 Further to my recent un-answered e-mail, I have spent some time on various News paper articles , forums and the like. They all come up with the same comments, where are all the small birds gone And there are far too many birds of prey; pigeon fanciers are taking the brunt At the moment, were bird losses are high and the racing season has not started. One fancier had a 56% strike rate on his loft, yet you tell me losses to birds of prey are only 14% how was that figure derived. Many genuine bird lovers are ALL saying the same thing when are the RSPB going to do something about the hawk problem and where are all the song birds. Therefore as a genuine bird lover I am making a formal request to the RSPB As to what you’re going to do about this ever increasing problem. I would greatly appreciate it if you would not send me a stock or repeated answer that doesn’t answer my questions
