So I paid good money, for the sire of an RPRA award winner, and he turns out to be sterile.

Paired him to two different hens, or at least the dam to RPRA pigeon and one other. Both hens bred young with other cocks. Any ideas please.

Bred last year. None for me this year. The seller when questioned said he had him on some fertility treatment last year so he didn't miss any eggs. That sounded the alarm bells.

apparently if you give them a smartie it helps them , have heard it but never tried , iodine is good for fertility juice some spinach leaves or some dried seaweed

2002, not old me thinks. I have a black hen from 2000. and she breeds super youngsters. I hope you agree merlin.

Pure stunners Pete, sent you P.M. Wheat Germ Oil contains a good  deal of Vit E,and is reckoned to be extremly benifical in some of these instances.

The other thing i've been told by an old experienced fancier is to disolve some jelly babies in hot water and put in the drinker!

viagra for pigeons ? you have to be checked for heart conditions , not a route id go down could give it a heart attack

you could also of course ask what he was given last year and give him the same as there must be a problem for previous owner to want to use something on him!

i would ask the previous owner why they used fertility tabs on a younger bird and what did they use and then give it a try but i know an old fancier near me has 10 y/o cocks still filling eggs with no treatment
