A couple of crushed garlic cloves in the bath water keeps the little beasties away. :)

best one of the lot, I put crushed garlic in a bottle of water and let lie for a week then put it in the bath water,

give the birds a bath with malt vinegar in once a week or fortnight,, they will be lice free then.. add a couple of gluggs from the bottle per bath.. it will foam up when adding water but don't worry..

If you want to try medication get moxidectin,, this will sort out the mites and internal parasites,, very good stuff but not cheap.. £25 per bottle..

goodluck ,, but for a beginner use vinegar,, we do..lol..
