Valteng,

There are all sorts of theories regarding racing pigeons, 'wing theory' and 'eyesign', also 'throat theory' all having their followers and critics. There are lots of other views and beliefs about pigeons, that's what makes the sport so interesting and full of debate. For me I wouldnt have a red cheq in the shed  ;) - its just a long standing joke and a bit of fun. The most important thing is that you like your pigeons - how they handle,  good quality feathering, good overall health etc. etc. and at the end of a race the 'feet theory' comes into play - first feet on the landing board on race day wins the race.  :)

Whatever theory you subscribe to - enjoy your pigeons .

All the best

Its a funny thing these pigeons!

Always remember the following:-

A good winner will never be, a bad colour, have a bad eye, have a bad throat etc etc

but will always give you pleasure!
