Guest pigeon82 Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 i have been training my young birds early and have lost 1 threw training sincce april and i have got them upto 27 miles by road they had 2 tosses 1 yesterday and they were split up and took them an 1hr 55min then i took them up today and they were bak within 1/2 hr am i gonna tire them to soon or is it good to get them fit?

blaz Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 i was planing to start my ybs early training . but i did not get a chance .i am hoping i can next year the reason i was going to start Early one of Belgium,s top flayers swears by it name escapes me at the moment. as long as you are not going to far you wont ware them out . make sure your are putting in what you are taking out . IE good quality food fresh grit and clean water twice a day

terry mccarthy Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 i started in april got them to peterborough 81 miles then flew them round the loft for a month now restarted them again straight into 55 miles cambridge they will have 2 newarks then ready for racing in mean time i will give the rest of the chucks at there breaking point 20 miles
