andrecrock Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 Hallo everyone, I have been updating my records and only realised now that i paired my top stock cock to his half sister. last season he was paired to a diffrent hen and the youngster did nothing for me as Yb birds and only averaged this year as yearlings, and i couldn't get any hens of him that hen dead so he got mistakenly paired to his half sister. This time round Yb did very well, they took 3 of 7 wins for me up to 90 miles and the winning bird turned out to be a hen.He is a Rolland Jansen cock and unfortunately she is the only Roland Jansen hen i got left other than his daughters.Do i pair them together again for 2010 and cross his offspring or do i cross him now and the same with his offspring.
rasbull Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 If its not broken why fix? They chucked out winners, and they have to be kept together for sure! Upto you though m8, but they seem to have clicked dont they!
kev43 Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 put him bk 2 same hen if they producing the gds as u say he is
PIGEON_MAN Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 If their breeding winners wouldnt matter to me how close they were.
