walter i have done the same for many a year the old trusted and tested way  

 

BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY DONE SO FOR THE LAST 30 SOME YEARS WILL CARRY ON TILL I STOP THE BIRDS

thing with droppings testing is you can only send a few droppings or swap samples off . say the one you send come back clear still dosent mean every thing is clear in your loft only way to be sure is to send every dropping from every bird off and that would cost a fortune lol

 

must agree with alan & RR  even if send samples away can't guarentee you,  why not use a preventive course to be on safe side how many top belgian vets and clinics now recommend preventive treatment, i,ll bet 99% of fancier's regime is based on this system.

With the New Year fast approaching how many of us could breed and race without giving any medication whatsoever to get them into Top Gear.
