fletch Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 hi guys i am not going to blackpool but have asked a friend of mine to bid on one or two of the roland janseen birds from the premier stud sale, am looking at some of the 09 birds, the last 40/50 birds in sale, any one got a idea what sort of money they will fetch, or what you think would be a good budget?
Guest tom123 Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 has its blackpool i expect stupid money mate
tjloft Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 I would be curious myself - starting bid has not,I think, been published which is why I will visit the LPW sale.
Guest mick bowler Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 I'd only pay what i was prepared to pay and not what the room dictates, as Tom123 says prices usually inflated in Blackpool, so unless you want it bad stick to your limit.
fletch Posted January 13, 2010 Author Report Posted January 13, 2010 as i aint going there will only be a certain amount for him to bid, Thanks for your views guys

owen101 Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 back to the subect the prices will be high as there is fanciers that will pay i reckon anywhere between £50 - £100
Guest bakes Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 as much as you willing to pay but i always set a fix price im willing to pay and all according how much i think the bird will bring to my loft me personally wouldnt pay no more than £100 for a bird even if its had a list mile long of wins like ian arnold said you could pay hundreds or pennys for birds but at the end of the day its down to you and your management to get the best from them all the best.
belmont Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 not all the jannsens are rubbish there is winners and loosers in all families I agree with Owen, but the fact that every current bird in RJ's loft has been outcrossed to others, or even bred by others, tells you something.....
