Should I do anything with the lights after the racing season to speed up the moult ?

Should I do anything with the lights after the racing season to speed up the moult ?

 

I have never had any issues in 20 years of racing on the darkness with birds moulting, they catch up very quickly when you stop darkening them, they are always moulted out fully by the time breeding comes. i have never had to use any lights to do this.
