OLDYELLOW
cocks need to own / defend there box so i think it be unwise to remove cocks from there section imo
carlsberg
my cocks this season will be raced from the hen section and my hens will have the nest boxes due to only having 12 boxes and 17 cocks
kev43
cocks need to own / defend there box so i think it be unwise to remove cocks from there section imo totally agree wi mark,,,cock needs to b bonded to his box and by removing him to another section would spoil him as a widower
chaz
Try and get the video "Dual Widowhood" by Rick Mardis , it is a system he races and does very well with flying in the US, I flew the system in early season and then re-paired for the channel and the birds flew very well over the water both cocks and hens but especially the cocks including 1st club saintes only bird on day , 6th fed only 7 on the day . wilkins
i find hens fly very well on the roundabout more so than the cocks maybe its because they are kept away from the box's
Guest southern and mason
cocks need to own / defend there box so i think it be unwise to remove cocks from there section imo my uncle has cocks in a section on the left boxes empty in the middle and hens in the other side and is 1 ov the top flyers in his fed in the mighty up north combine wen he lets the cocks in 2 the boxes on a fri morn the go wild coz they havnt cin ther box all week so ther up and down fightin other cocks out ther box
