pairing pigeons

Hello,

 

i have a huge task of repairing al my pigeons for next year, can anybody offer any advice on repairing pigeons to diffrent hens / cocks

 

i want to alter all my pairings next year and all my birds have been paired to diffrent pigeons this year any tips / advice?

come on andrew you are not a novice the length of time you have been keeping pigeons you should know how to split and re-pair pigeons

repairing pigeons is realy basic , just split and re pair when you want to pair ,  lock hen in the cocks box and feed and water for a few days after they are billing through the wires let them together in there box , then let one pair at a time out of there box  till there entering there own box for a couple of times and try not to let any previous pairing that you had out at the same time childs play

i would have thought someone who sells pigeons  and probably gives advice to novices etc purchasing pigeons  would no the basics regarding pairing re pairing etc come on andrew you went to university

sounds ok to me but would put them in different sections if possible

i was working on the bases of a small loft set up but even easier if you have more sections

post obviously put to get stupid answers as you breed sell birds and as we have no idea of birds with witch birds how can anyone answer to be perfectly honest and to the point  if you need advice on pairing youer own stock then dont expect to sell many????so my post will be crp tpo you but sadly i know how to pair pigeons

i have no beef with you,frankly i don't care one way or another,but calling the guys on site stupid[even some of them] is plain daft when you expect the same guys to donate to your "auction",if perhaps you published some of your racing perfomances when trying to sell birds to the "stupid" you might not get any of the percieved abuse that you get,you go whinging to the webmaster about "stupid posts",then accuse your fellow members of posting "crxxx",i think its all about perception,

how many pigeons in how many sections?

 

that depends on space available some lofts have single flytes ectra but i suppose if you had 2 sections  at least you would keep most of the original pairing apart , but if you have a 1000ft foot loft then the number of birds and the number of sections would predict how you went about repairing

fifer far be it for me to question you as mod but what is youer perception of this question done for effect or genuine advice???//this is why answer are odd we dont beleave someone of ahitchcocks knowledge needs advie from all us dif,s on here now if it was novice we would all give sound info as you know

 

the question has been asked and you have answered it in another post, it is a question so lets keep the postings to the question, if you dont want to answer it for what ever reason then fair enough but lets just keep the forum running good, hopefully I have answered your question, all the best, lets enjoy the forum, the actions i have taken were to stop the topic getting into a heated argument rather than keeping to the topic in question,

oh look andrew its so easy you get mr pigeon and mrs pigeon they go out to a quite place in the loft for an all you can eat corn and beans meal [if you feed beans]a little bit of romantic music comes in handy but, no candles its fire hazard ;D ;D ;Dthen they pile into a pigeon taxi [there at least 3 new couriers that can do the job nowdays,pigeon tracker look very good]back to his nest box,let nature take its part,then in the morning the hen goes back to her perch,with the cockbird promising to call easy is it not?,then after the first egg has laid, the hens dad turns up at the cocks nestbox [with a shotgun] and demands that he marries his hen,this is when most pigeon fanciers seperate their birds,hopes this helps
