paul10121968 Posted June 13, 2009 Report Posted June 13, 2009 my youngsters benefited from a good training toss yesterday evening.they were taken to the cotswolds where they were liberated one at a time at 2 minute intervals.the first one was let up at 6.00pm.my first bird returned at 7.45pm,the second and third returned together at 8.15pm,i then had a fourth at 9.15pm.there were three birds waiting for me this morning when i got up and 2 more have returned this morning.there is now 1 missing.i know this kind of treatment is harsh but as most of these birds are untried i wanted to get an idea of what i had in the loft.i am pleased with their progress even though i have suffered some terrible losses.what i am now left with i know i can rely on to give their best.i am now going to concentrate on the late breds and they to will be pushed hard.will let you know how they get on .paul
