Guest karl adams Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 whats the best way of breading would you cross 1 family with another or would you keep the family the same
OLDYELLOW Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 depends commercialy most want pure strains these will win , but when you cross they tend to invigourate the birds breeding better pigeons if both familys were very inbred then i would suggest a cross
tippler1 Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 i think people cross breed to try and find the best of the best thay is alot of breeds out there so i think myself some ware a breed is out there to do the job you wont it too but thats just what i think most would not agree
hepste Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 whats the best way of breading would you cross 1 family with another or would you keep the family the same First decide whether you want to excel at sprint/middle or long. Whichever it is, get two families, test them vigorously, keep the best of each, then cross them together. You create your own family, whils injecting hybrid vigour into the originals. Job done!
