Action Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 This will be my first year with Pigeons.I am trying to get ready to race YB's. I have some breeders and am just about done with my YB loft. Just looking for any info-tips-advice or what ever you want to offer. How to train-feed-before race-after race, anything. Have been talking to people and reading all I can find. Just want to be ready when the birds are. Thanks and have a Happy New Year. Jack

Guest ROCKYandRAMBO Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 treat them gently dont try and win races build a team first
pjc Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 if this is your first season there will be many ups and downs but don't try and run before you can walk. Breeding will be a learning curve, then keeping your youngbirds healthy and getting them fit will be the next, once they are flying well then educate them, maybe give them a couple of races then keep them back for the following season. Good luck with them! Phil
David048 Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 have a look at the link on my signature - there is a really good website there that you sign up to but you get everything you need to know. Daily newsletters that cover all the basiscs and loads of great advice from top top flyers. everyone will tell you something different when you first start up but getting the basics right is the key. good luck
