Guest Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 B75-6758680. "GOUDEN WITNEUS" OR "GENOPTE WITPEN" This fantastic producer, the direct son of the "GOLDEN PAIR" came through Gerhard Schlepphorst to Herman Beverdam, where he became the no. 1 producer of the Meulemans family, before he was sold on into the USA ! All his children were fantastic producers and founded lofts world wide ! In the new generation Meulemans producers you will find this exceptional producer in many pedigrees of todays foundation stock ! The HERMAN BEVERDAM MEULEMANS are known for their unique class ! They are as they were in 1976 of incredible class and they prove it every season again !

Guest Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 nice birds andrew, what have they bred for you ? Double Cottage Breeding & Racing lofts have not raced over the last few years, however birds sold from the loft have won / bred winners in this time. The janssen van den bosch birds are a family i have been building for myself over the last year or so the first year on the road will be 2009 and time will tell!
maxwell Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 I still have them i bought a full sister to "Superman" and later swaped the late Don Blakeway 1 from her for 1 from his famous Goris Pair this cock paired to a dtr of the superman hen bred very good birds especialy when crossed with the old Janssens. I also had from a friend in ireland a Red & Mealy cock from a old 019 janssen cock x Ritz hen these pigeons are still winning well for people its just that they are not so popular so you dont here so much about them.
mark Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 i do beleive timbarra lofts has probley some of the best meulemans van den bosh in the uk today oh happy days theres a name from the past.
Guest Thunder Birds Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 One of the best Schlepphorst Van Den Bosch / Meulemans were the Bunte Goris line - 2 hens in the Uk - 1 hen was owned by Richard Kirkbride - can't remember the other. Another top line were the Kas & Witstaart that William Geerts had birds off. Schllephorst had many families that he interbred though - as a pigeon photographer he got to see some of the best birds in Belgium and Holland. His Janssens of Arendonk were also top class. Don't know anything about his modern day families?
Guest Thunder Birds Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 Kas & Witstaart that William Geerts had birds off. Sorry should be the other way round - Gerhard Schlepphorst had Kas & Witstaart lines off William Geerts p.s. 7658680/75 was called 'Genopte Witpen 'by Marien Meulemans and Gerhard Schlepphorst - only given the name 'Gouden Witneus' by Herman Beverdam. The original 'Witneus' was 6261175/73 and owned by Gommaire Verbruggen.
PC Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 well ive got no papers with my pair but a fiend of my fathers was outing his janssen lines & gave me 4 birds ( & he doesent buy or keep rubbish ) last year the mullerman x janssen broken wing racer was crossed to the exelent janssen hen he suplied........ 2 excelent blue cocks breed the first one 180 topped club n got high in regional results 2nd race as young bird so I stocked him for this year the brother 179 as a yearling won the club ace yearling prize for me by about 20 places ( being the addition of all the prizes in all the yearling races) so placed in the high prizes every single race raced natural so im inbreeding a line around them & the parents it looks like
