Silverdale Lofts Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 Just been looking on Louella web site 12th November and 13 th November sales list some cracking old stock for sale Starting prices £40 plus giving pedigrees would be ideal for new starters or even if a cock or hen short worth the look
OLDYELLOW Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 Have to agree older stock gets you closer to the Oak than the acorns from the bottom and reasonably priced

Guest Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 Have to say, although older stock, their some beauts in there, well worth a gamble, especially when you see some ludrcrous prices for same age birds elsewhere.
Michael J Burden Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 I have to say that I have had one. A Wildy' cock of the opal colour. I think they all appear well bred and most seem to be reasonably priced.
ChrisMaidment08 Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 at end of day it comes down to money if you buy half these birds elswere they will cost you fortune yet 40 quid upwards breeds you say six youngsters money back and good blood t start with bargin but dont let them out some fool did lost em not saying who fool is but not far away ;D ;D ;D
Guest Paulo Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 I'm not a big fan of Louella as some of you may have gathered in the past lol. But I'd take a chance on buying one or two of those stock birds for the cash. Can only try them and better than paying stupid money at auctions etc
