pigeonpete Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Hi, were racing from newton abbot today, any 1 in or around there with any weather news? would be greatly appreciated, they are aiming to get em away around 10 a.m! and im stuck at work!!! so another stressful day in our so relaxing hobby lol! ;-)

Guest Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Yeah I'm about 15/20 mile north north west as the crow flies, rotten morning just stopped bucketing down, clouds still thick and dark , but slight lightening happening; would think navigator is right,word of caution though, heavy showers expected this afternoon, wind strong so may be one of those races where the winners are fast but the rest struggle. add on Strong is perhaps the wrong word,medium wind, gusting at times mre appropriate
