blaz Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 with all due respect the welsh and their grand national race surely derek cannot take credit for this as it should be the breeder who takes the credit as he is only the manager of the one loft race the pigeon should not have been transferred onto dereks name but transferred onto europa classic after all it was him and his staff who made the big cock up last year at there yb race or else there could have been alot more birds at this race so if you buy a bird in train it feed it look after it then set it up to win a national. then say all credit goes to jo bloggs for breeding it come on .credit where credits dew
Guest redwhiteblue Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 so if you buy a bird in train it feed it look after it then set it up to win a national. then say all credit goes to jo bloggs for breeding it come on .credit where credits dew you're right blaz credit where credits due is this the team that lost over 1000 young birds last year and being slated to death on this? as i said he is only the manager the birds that are in there are being paid for by the breeders and being paid well!! if chris boyd scores the winning penalty, walter smith doesn't get the credit does he??

blaz Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Derek is a person Europa is a company .so if a bird is lost it would be down to Derek to get it back .who would take responsibility in a company to retrieve a lost bird .it,s just the homing union covering them selves same as rpra.
Guest strapper Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 what has hapened to the welsh national only 220 birds to thurso :( hardly anyone flys north these days...most are on the south road or south east.
Tenny Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 I belive that the Europa team considered going accross the water recently. Main objective was the lack of flexibility of race day as its awkward booking and rescheduling the ferry for the BIG RACE.

Guest Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 id like to refrase that....should be.. not many fly north these days. That's real sad, it takes a better pigeon imo to fly the north route in to Wales than the south
