there are birds before that, i had one at the loft at 8.35 but couldnt get it in untill 42. I saw one drop for bromley on the 34- 35 not sure if he had a better trap than i had and got it in.

First race for us this year. birds were very nervous on return and the first bird did about 20 laps of pontypool before desiding to land and sit on the loft, it got no better had 12 sat there at one point not wanting to come in, never mind next week hopefully will get better.

Well boys it is nice to have good returns but there is a swear word in the valleys called WORK and if there`s good weather on a Saturday and bad on a Sunday then what ??Don`t forget the guy`s that after be out at 07.00 on a Monday morning and dont mention what about ETS if i cant be there for them (any injured ect.) then they dont go.

This was the feeling from quite a few members at  the club last night also.

kev what i think the idea has been is that if the weather is ok for sunday why not basket sat for sun but if weather is doddgy then it remains fri for sat has tradition  only if its a good chance of a race on sunday it should be considered

Now that makes sence Tom , even though the rumers have started they are all on a Sunday whatever i hope only if weather is good.
