Guest Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 Shouldn't be any problem colour and eye colour wont do any harm for one season
just ask me Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 wouldent be a prob they can come a little week at times but if u get a good one they can be a star in the racing loft and stock loft
Guest Freebird Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 Only way you're going to find out is to try it. Depends on the genes in each bird and what they carry etc. Give them a go for at least three clutches then you'll have an idea how compatable they are. Are you breeding for colour, form or flying?
andrew gooch Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 half brother/sister matings are my best. had 1 family of birds 4 26 years still going strong and as good as the originals.more than proven mating the way i explained keeps them all looking differant but does not effect the performances and are a peace of cake for me to pair now as i now them inside out
Guest MBpigeonguy Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 i am breeding them becouse they are both, white birds with red spots, huge ceres, and nice eyes, and perfect body and wing.
Guest Freebird Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 Try them and let us know the outcome.
andrew gooch Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 yes good if thay are the type you like .but dont condem them after one season keep going till u hit that winning gean because it will come out some were and if u have there parents u can put them our chidren of them in to their off spring it sounds complicated but line breeding gets very easy patient birds with the same genes but diferent in looks. I now bread 3-4 different colours from some pairs e.g blue cock, slatie cheq hen reds blues cheq slaties LT cheqs u can see some of these resemble g.parents but u still must let mr basket sort them out 4 u.
