Guest Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 Mark, don't get the Brtish Homing world here, can you give me the jist of the story please Thanks
square_peg Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 THATS THE PROBLEM WITH THE DOO GAME MARK JUST ABOUT ANY DOO MAN [OR WOMAN] WILL DONATE TO ANY WORTH WHILE CAUSE OUTSIDE OF THE DOO WORLD BUT JOE PUBLIC DOES NOT HERE ANYTHING ABOUT IT.CAN YOU IMAGINE TOTALLING UP ALL THE DONATIONS IN THE LAST 10 YEARS FROM THE BLACKPOOL,EDINBURGH AND THE REST OF THE BIG SHOWS,ALSO SALES LIKE ANTHONY'S THAT HAVE BEEN IN BHW & RACING PIGEON ETC IT WOULD ADD UP TO ONE HELL OF A LOT OF MONEY. MOST OF THE PUBLIC SEE BLOODY PIGEONS THAT sh** ON MY WASHING :-/
Guest Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 I think it would be easy to get a list of where the donations had been sent and circulate it out to members. Very easy to get the local press out and take a photo of the recipients and publish how much had been given to the good cause by PIGEON FLYERS. I flew in the Rossendale Valley and the Local Hospice always received a cheque from The Blackpool show. The cheque handing over was always pubished and printed in the local rag along with a few of the members holding their birds. Just a thought
